Every affordable online MBA on this page is at an AACSB-accredited business school, so a low
price here does not mean a lower tier of accreditation. This list of affordable online MBA
programs is ordered by the whole-program tuition
each school reports to AACSB, at the out-of-state rate, from least to most expensive. It is a
price list, not a quality ranking: the number on each card is its position by price, and
where the program is also ranked, its score is shown. Program summaries come from each school's
own online MBA page. The main ranking weighs price against graduate earnings.
Tuition is the whole-program figure each school reports to AACSB. Schools update it on their own schedule and some exclude fees, so it can trail the price on the school's own site: Illinois reports $24,984 to AACSB for the iMBA, and its program page lists $27,288 in total tuition and fees. Use it to compare programs, and confirm the current price with the school.
The 25 Cheapest Online MBA Programs

so the cheapest online MBA on this list clears the same accreditation bar as the most expensive.

More Affordable Online MBA Programs, 26 To 320
The other 295 programs, grouped by price. Open a band to see its programs in order
from least to most expensive, with each one's national rank where it has one.
At a few schools, yes. 11 of the 320 AACSB-accredited programs that report a price to AACSB come in under $12,000 for the whole degree, starting at $9,000 at Valdosta State University. That is the floor rather than the going rate: the median across every program here is $31,351, so a search result promising $8,000 to $12,000 is describing the cheapest end of the list, not the middle of it.
What is the cheapest online MBA?
Among AACSB-accredited business schools, Valdosta State University reports the lowest whole-program tuition for its online MBA, $9,000. Arkansas Tech University ($9,360) and Southern Utah University ($9,700) follow.
Is there an affordable online MBA with AACSB accreditation?
Yes, many. 73 AACSB-accredited schools report whole-program tuition under $20,000 for their online MBA, 28 of them under $15,000. 25 of the 25 cheapest are public universities.
Do graduates of cheaper online MBAs earn less?
On average, yes. Among ranked programs, the cheapest quarter reports a median tuition of $16,170 and its business master's graduates earned a median $72,109 a year after finishing. The most expensive quarter reports $61,556, and its graduates earned $104,093. Earnings also reflect who enrolls, so the gap is not all down to the program.
Is a cheap online MBA worth it?
It depends on what the price buys. Every program on this page is at an AACSB-accredited business school, so a cheap online MBA here is not a less accredited one. On outcomes the data is mixed: the cheapest quarter of ranked programs reports a median $16,170 in tuition and $72,109 in graduate earnings a year out, against $61,556 and $104,093 for the most expensive quarter. Earnings also reflect who enrolls, so the gap is not all down to the program.
Do in-state students pay less for an online MBA?
Sometimes. 83 of the programs here report a lower in-state price, all of them at public schools; the biggest gap is at North Carolina State University, $44,387. The others report the same price for in-state and out-of-state students, or report only one.
